Some of the information you will find includes SDK's, architecture documentation, special developer ROM's, etc. You'll also find areas where you can converse with developers who might have experience with they specific type of system you are attempting to build. If you have a specific issue, you'll probably find that some developer has already experienced and found a way to solve the issue.
