Creating MP3's on your CD's

It is perfectly legal to create MP3's of CD's you already own to listen to on you Zaurus. To do this, you should acquire an application that will perform the "Ripping" function. "Ripping" is a term that means to convert tha audio on a CD to an MP3 audio file.

To "Rip" your CD, you may visit a site like CNET. In CNET, go to the downloads area then click on the MP3 and Audio link. In this section you see a section called Rippers and Encoders. This is where you will be able to find the software to "Rip" your CD's.

After you have MP3 files created, simply store them on the CF memory card or use the Transfer folder on you desktop to sync them to your Zaurus.
