Step 1: Click the Internet Wizard from the Settings tab. On the following
screen, click the New Button in the middle of the screen: |

Step 2: On the following screen, you'll make the choice to set up
a Modem or Network. At the end of the process, you'll be given
the opportunity to set up the opposite of what you choose. If
you plan to set up the email account, you can choose that option
also: |

Step 3: If you choose Dial-up, the next screen will allow you to enter
the phone number of your ISP: |

Step 4: Then you will be given a screen where you will enter the Connection
ID, your password, and DNS's if required: |

Step 6: The final setup screen will allow you to set up the email
account if you chose that option earlier: |

Step 7: After clicking the next button, you will see a complete list
of the settings you created. Verify the settings and then click
the Register button:
You will find yourself at the beginning screen and you'll
notice that the connection has been stored. If you are interested
in adding a Network connection, you must talk with your system adminnistrator
first.
You should ask your system administrator:
Is the network Dynamic or Static?
If it is Dynamic, what is the IP Address, Subnet
Mask, and Gateway?
If it is Dynamic, what is the Primary and Secondary
DNS?
Is there a Proxy Setting?
If so, The Auto Configure Proxy URL
OR
The Host and Port for HTTP: and FTP and the No
Proxies For URL's

Step 8: Once you have this information, you should click on the New
button again in the middle of the screen. On the following screen,
click on LAN instead of Dial-up. Select the Make Mail Setting
option if you want to set up an email account using the network
you plan to connect to. |

Step 9: If you are using a static IP address, you should enter the
IP Address, Subnet Mask, and Gateway in the following screen.
Otherwise select Obtain IP Address Automatically. |

Step 10: Before leaving this screen, if you are using a static IP address,
select the DNS
button. Then enter the Primary and Secondary
IP addresses. |

Step 11: On the following screen you will see the option to set proxies.
If you are to select proxies, you can do so automatically or
set them manually. You should have obtained the URL to auto-configure
or the HTTP Host, FTP Host, Ports, and "No Proxies For"
from your system administrator. Enter this information here. |

Step 12: Then you will be taken to the screen where
you can see the settings you've configured. Once you have verified
the settings, click Register and you will again be taken to the starting
screen. Click the "X" in the upper right hand corner. You
may need to reboot your system to get the settings to take effect.
To reboot, click on the Shutdown icon on the Settings tab. Then click
on the Reboot button. |
