Key Features
Support for MS Exchange and Lotus Domino Attaché
provides secure real-time access to either Microsoft Exchange or Lotus
Domino groupware data and applications.
End-to-End Security All data exchanges between
device and server are encrypted using 168-bit Triple-DES algorithm.
Application Server Support To account for
enterprise scalability and related requirements, Attaché is
built on leading industry-standard application servers.
Ease of Administration & Management Seamless
integration with existing groupware systems. Web-based interfaces
make user configuration and systems administration easy.
Access to Groupware User List User lists
can be directly imported via LDAP import capability. And, individual
users can be selected/deselected from this list.
Authentication Usage of existing groupware
ID and password. Authentication against
groupware server (Lotus Domino access list or NT user domain).
User-Managed Filtering Options Rich set of
user-managed filtering options including message size, age of e-mail,
read/unread, full-body/header-only, include/exclude attachments, etc.
Attachment Handling Allows creation of e-mails
with attachments on device; supports sending and forwarding e-mails
with attachments; attachments can be downloaded (even at a time later
than original message) and viewed on device.
Contacts Ability to search global address
book wirelessly; supports sending e-mail to
either single or multiple addresses retrieved from global address
book.
Calendar Functionality Ability to initiate,
accept and reject meeting appointment, including full range of recurrence
conditions. Supports synchronization of all local calendar additions
deletions and changes between server and client.
Conflict Resolution Extensive conflict
resolution procedures between groupware server and device depending
on event and location.
Time Zone Synchronization Ability to send/receive
e-mails and synch devices in time zones different from that of groupware
server.
