functions to your current version of the ROM.

The following page will give you complete instructions to download
and install the latest updated ROM update for the Zaurus SL-5500.
The special System ROM update is provided to enhance LAN security
and Sandisk support. If you don't need these enhancements, please
do not download this ROM. See Security
Bulletin 1 for an expanation of this enhancement.

Daylight Time Update: Download (.zip

This Software Update is an executable file. It was designed to fix
the warning screen that displays named "Is4sl" which is due to the
Daylight Savings time change applied to the computer in early April.
Save it to your desktop and doubleclick to run it. You will see no
finish message but the update installs within seconds. Once it finishes,
you will not see the warning message again.

Socket and Symbol Wireless LAN Drivers: Download (.ipk 110k)
This Zaurus installation file contains the device drivers for the
Socket Wireless LAN CF Card (WL6000-320) and Symbol Spectrum24 High
Rate Wireless Networker CompactFlash Card (LA4137). For installation
instructions, please refer to the "How to Install Software" document
below. IMPORTANT: Please reboot the Zaurus after
installation of this software package.

This download is a zip file containing the files available on the
CD that comes with your Zaurus. You should download this onto your
computer, open it with an application that will unzip the file, and
then click on the "index.htm" file. Follow the on-screen instructions
to install.

file system on the Zaurus. You will be able to move, copy, and paste files
from different directories in the Zaurus file structure.

the Zaurus in a shell environment using commands for the Linux operating
system.

This installation file is for the user who has purchased the Sharp Camera
for the Zaurus. Simply download the file, put it on a CF or SD memory card
or even load it onto the Zaurus using the directory created for sync'ing.
Use the Install/Remove Programs icon on the Setting tab to install the application.

Lotus Notes Sync software: Download (Self Extracting .zip 190k)
This windows download contains NotesSync - a Lotus Notes database
that enables you to synchronize your Zaurus with the Notes calendar,
address book and todo list. The Lite version is free and allows a
basic synchronization of all three applications. Purchasing a Pro
key will enable the advanced features and give greater control. For
installation and usage instructions please go to the NotesSync website.
