AIRcable CellConnect for Sharp's Zaurus models SL-5x00
provides a fast, convenient way of connecting Zaurus PDAs to a Bluetooth
cell phone for dial up network connections. AIRcable for Zaurus comes
with a single connector that plugs into the serial (cradle) port.
The AIRcable CellConnect does not require any software for the Zaurus
to
establish a Bluetooth connection. Pairing with a cell phone is a simple
one button press on the module. When the connection is established dial
up software on the Zaurus allows you to connect to the Internet or your
corporate network.
As a bonus, the AIRcable CellConnect for Zaurus can pair with two
devices. The first one could be our AIRcable USB or a Bluetooth access
point you use while you are at the office or at home, the second would
be your cell phone. The AIRcable CellConnect first tries to connect to
the device it is paired with first. When you leave the range of your PC
or access point, it very conveniently automatically connects to your
cell phone allowing you dial up connections.
